Our Center

Mission:

Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center offers free, confidential and life-affirming resources informing, educating and empowering women and men regarding pregnancy, abortion and parenting. We are a Christ-centered, non-profit ministry serving clients with excellence.

Background:

Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center was founded by two Pocatello women who wanted to make a positive difference in women's lives in the southeastern Idaho community. No pregnancy resource centers were located anywhere in the southeast Idaho area, so they started the process of founding one in Pocatello in 2005. They chose to affiliate with Care Net, a pro-abundant life ministry that provides resources, training and support for over 1,200 pregnancy resource centers in North America. Our 501(c)3 non-profit status was approved, a building was provided and renovated, supplies and equipment were donated, sponsorships and partnerships were established, a board of directors and volunteers were trained and on November 14, 2011, Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center opened our doors.

We provide free pregnancy tests, education and material services through our Life Steps program, and referrals to other community resources. We are currently working to provide free ultrasounds to our clients.

We are entirely funded by individual, church and business financial partners to provide free services and resources to our clients.

All our services are free and confidential. We do not provide or refer for abortions or abortifacients but we can provide information about abortion so women can make informed decisions.
